This design is a good gift for a childs Christening, or any other religious celebration. The white on the egg is for purity and the black for reverance. The fish are Christ, the stars in the diamonds stand for Christ and Love. The triangular basket weave is symbolic of a bread basket (never knowing hunger or emptiness), and the ladders are prayer, the steps to Heaven. In totality, this design wishes the child (or anyone starting a new life) a pure love for Christ, showing them that through love and prayer, they will be Heaven bound.
