This exquisite design has its basis in Hutzul origin with its predominant stars and orange and green coloring. But the decoration has reached beyond the basic story-telling. Within the symbols themselves, the base meaning of this design is knowledge in purity, knowledge of Christ and His love. The pure white diamonds form a cross on the top and the bottom of the egg, symbolizing the knowledge that Christ and Christianity lead to love.
