The Hutzul folk with their colorful design believed strongly in the power of a gift. This design encompasses many designs with a lot of symbolism. This egg has beauty (food for the soul), stars for Christ and Love, and ribbons for eternity. The diamonds, full and partial are wishing knowledge, the rams horns or curls protection and the small red crosses symbolize Christianity.
